My Project

What is a desk pet you ask? In my classroom each student gets a desk pet (ususally it is a small squishy toy or mini eraser) to keep with them throughout the day.

Desk pets help to keep my students engaged and motivated to learn in the classroom!

Students recieve a new pet each month. Each Wednesday during the month students recieve an accessory to go with their desk pet. Aceesories include food, another animal etc. My students love to take care of their desk pets! They look forward to being able to take their pet with them at certain times of the day while doing work in the classroom.
