The students in my classroom are snapshots of our future. They are incredibly bright, hard-working, and ambitious. They are hungry to learn more and wanting to find what it is that will set their hearts on fire. These resources will give me the opportunity to expand the four walls of my classroom and help them to step outside of the limits walls.
With your help, I can give them the opportunity to think like writers and innovators, to be limited only by their imaginations, and to teach them that it is their imagination that writes their future not where they come from.

My Project
These laptops will allow my students to research high schools around the world to gather information on what makes a high school innovative and successful. They will view Ted Talks on inspiring creativity in the classroom and how to successfully teach all students. From their research they will design from scratch their version of the perfect high school. From a mission statement, to curriculum, to classroom design, and innovative characteristics that set their school apart from others.
After researching, students will design an aesthetically pleasing visual and present their blueprints to a panel in hopes to receive funding for their new project.
