My Students

Our students come to school every day eager to learn new things, especially when it comes to technology. They appreciate whenever you show them new ways to use technology to create, collaborate, or communicate.

Our students are very curious, especially when it comes to learning new technologies.

But we don't have the resources to keep current. Ours is a small school and is located in central Maine. We try to provide them with opportunities to learn new technologies with the limited resources we have available.

My Project

Students need more opportunities to design and create new products that will provide a solution to a unique problem. These fundamental skills of designing and creating are applied in every field, including business, medicine, and engineering. For this project, students will use computer software to design a product, then print their designs with the 3D printer.

With a 3D printer, students will have the opportunity to learn how to design new products and produce a prototype.

They will then be able to test their product and re-design it as needed. Through trial-and-error, they will learn how to refine and improve their designs.
