This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The students are truly curious and innovative students who love to learn. They enjoy being active and hands-on with their learning. They do not fear challenges, but come in each day ready to face challenges head on.

In the city, students are introduced to many diverse cultures that shaped their learning and increase real-life connections!

We are currently a commuter charter school in the heart of the Atlanta.

My students are truly a pop of color in a black and white world!

My Project

Please help me create and provide my students with a more inviting and personalized classroom, which foster and hone in on their artistic abilities. My students love to express themselves through art and writing, and I feel that the opportunity to work with a tool such as this one will push them even further on their projects within the classroom.

Students will utilize the Cricut machine and Cricut press to pursue creating diorama projects, shirts for celebrations in the classroom, end of unit projects, and also to make trinkets for themselves and parents.

As the educator in the classroom, I would utilize this item to create a more comfortable, colorful and inviting classroom environment for all of my students. This opportunity will allow me to test their boundaries and artistic capabilities to foster and push them to be the best them that they can be.
