I am sponsoring a school improvement club this year and I have approximately 25 creative, clever, and very spontaneous fourth and fifth graders in my club. I want to make this year the best experience possible by having the appropriate materials. My students will be very happy and utilize every item that is donated. Our mission is to provide an educational environment that produces independent thinkers, creative problem solvers, and responsible citizens. With your help I can continue to achieve our mission. Our school is a rural school south of Atlanta, Georgia. We do not receive Title I federal money so our budget is always tight. I want to inspire my students to love learning by creating a fun learning environment for them.
My Project
Students in my school are so creative and are limited only by the materials we can provide them to bring their ideas to reality. My students are interested in starting a school pride club and adding inspirational quotes to the restrooms, hallways, media center, and workrooms. They also want to create customized shirts for the students of the month and for the club. I'd love to give them the opportunity to create their designs from scratch using the Silhouette and heat press machine.
Creativity is experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun!
I am excited to offer my students all of these opportunities through this project. From t-shirts to megaphones, to inspirations, and more, my students and I would be able to use this machine for years and years to come. I can't wait to start creating colorful and exciting designs that are tailored and personalized to utilize for engagement, excitements, and creativity.
