My students need a laminator and a paper cutter to assist me in making their classroom their very own. They will use the items to help decorate within our classroom.
I have not met my students yet but I am 100% positive that they will benefit from having extra supplies within the classroom to help me grade papers and decorate the classroom. Kids love to help their teachers. I will let them grade papers and cut out words/pictures to put around the classroom.
The school has students from diverse backgrounds, that need your help to make their 3rd grade year the best one yet.
There are students who have parents that have money to help them be successful in school, there are students who are able to get the essentials for school but nothing more, and then there are students who do not have any financial stability in their life at all. There is a wide range of students in the school.
I want my new students to come into 3rd grade ready to rumble! I believe when they see that there they are able to help the teacher and make their classroom their own, they will love coming to school each and every day.
My Project
The students will have a nice laminator and paper cutter to help assist myself in decorating the classroom. I love making my classroom inviting and engaging for the students. Our school does not have a decent paper cutter/laminator to use every single day. There is only one of each to go around to all of the teachers. Also, the laminator sometimes breaks and/or does not have any lamination paper for us to use. The students will obviously not be using the paper cutter, I will. They will still benefit from this in many ways, because of the fact that the school does not have a nice paper cutter for the teachers to use.
Having decorations within the classroom will make it inviting and engaging for the students to come in every day and want to learn new subjects.
The laminator will be used daily because I love changing up the decorations to keep the students interested and engaged.
