This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Help me provide an active and engaging classroom with Chemistry Science materials. Donations help foster academic achievement for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing grades 9th to 12th. Our students come from all over the valley to attend our school. We are a small charter school for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. All instruction is done through American Sign Language. For the majority of our students the only time they have full access to communication is during school hours. This means when they go home they might not have anyone to sign too who understands them. Thank you for all of your help. It means the world!

My Project

Help me give my students access to learn Chemistry. I teach high school deaf students and they come from all over the valley to attend our bicultural bilingual campus. All teaching instruction is done in American Sign Language.

Access to science is an essential part of a child's educational development.

Having materials that are accessible for each style of learning is essential so all students have access to learning what is being taught. Students will benefit from these resources in many ways. Students will increase their knowledge and comprehension with hands on tools. They will gain the understanding of Chemistry that is taught in solids, liquid and gas.
