Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My tenure as an athletic director, teacher, and coach, continues to be amazing; creating a sense of excitement about physical education and athletics is something that I am passionate about. I believe that educating sports fundamentals and being physically active is crucial for young individuals, as it will build a foundation for a future healthy lifestyle and a positive attitude. For the past few years, I have been working at schools where we had limited resources and facilities to accommodate students. My vision is to present opportunities that will help build character and pride.

My Project

With this new equipment, our student athletes will gain the ability and confidence needed to be successful on the basketball court. In addition, players will be able to participate in in a wider range of basketball drills aimed at improving their confidence, shooting and ball handling performance. With an increase in skill level development, players will be closer to college readiness.

The supplies that I am requesting are going to be used by our jv boys, girls and boys varsity teams every day.

They include Wilson basketballs, D-Man Defensive Mannequins, Spalding Shot Contester Training Aids, and a Champion Lockable Ball Storage Locker to keep everything in one place and secured.

My players deserve the opportunity to reach their full potential. Thank you for helping our school sports family accomplish this, we appreciate you!
