This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Can you remember when you were in school and the teacher said, "Class it's time for independent reading." You went to the library and no matter how hard you tried you couldn't find, "The Book." This on-line subscription will ensure learning for all students.

My thirty multicultural fourth graders know exactly the kind of books they enjoy reading.

My students may be at 90% poverty level, but that means nothing to them. They know they must work hard and stay focused. The more children read, the better readers they will become. I want my students to be lifelong learners. Raz-Kids is an on-line resource differentiated to ensure all students are engaged in learning. The on-line program is an excellent resource for all students. They can read at their individual levels with success. I want my students to enjoy reading and have a wonderful experience. When students are engaged in learning, they will have a wonderful experience.

My Project

With the materials from this project my students will be able to enhance their learning and literacy skills. With the materials from this project my students will be able to enhance their learning and literacy skills on a multitude of levels. First, and foremost these materials will aid my students in scaffolding and enhancing their literacy skills. By the way,"What good book have you read lately?"
