My Students

I am an EC Resource teacher at Oakboro Choice STEM School. The school is a K-8 school so we serve students from all grade levels. We have resource / pull-out classes where the students come to the EC classroom. We also have inclusion / co-teaching classes where the EC teacher is in the general education classroom supporting and co-teaching what the general education teacher teaches. Because this is a K-8 school, we serve around 40 kids that cover 9 grade levels.

My Project

As as EC teacher, everything that we do is based off of student data. One way that could make this easier for us would be by using a program called IEP Pal. This program is only available through an iPad app. The program allows you to enter students IEP goals and keep track of progress monitoring data. Because it is an iPad app, it can be carried between every inclusion / co-teaching classroom, as well as in the resource groups. The iPads would be used to have the program available to both EC teachers and keep track of students data in a more compact, transportable way.
