Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My third graders love to be "engineers" with building materials but as we transition to a STEAM focus, they need to explore with more technology tools.
Help us add a Dash and Dot Robot and Challenge Cards to our classroom technology.
My students are the face of the United States of America. Some were born in this country to English speaking parents. Some were born in the United States to Spanish or Vietnamese speaking parents. Others were born in another country and immigrated to the United States. One thing that all of my students have in common is their zest for learning. They are so wonderful in that they don't see the differences between each other.
My Project
My students love using the Chromebooks and coding websites and love programming the BeeBots. So, with a new calendar year, it is time to add something new.
Our current school year has been deemed "the year of taking chances" and "trying new things." Having a Dash and Dot Robot and accessories in our classroom will help us move forward to this goal.
Help our classroom acquire more robotics to learn and experiment with.
This year my students have been lucky enough to be one-to-one with Chromebooks as I am learning along with them. We have created a couple of Google Slides activities together, used Breakout activities, acquired BeeBots. So, let's find some more fun robotics to explore with.
