Mrs. Cahill from Clark NJ is requesting Books through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
Help me give my students a Dash Robot to help begin their programming skills.
My students are looking to use their individuality to become the best humans they can be. Through out this school year, my students have realized that they each have special qualities and traits that make them unique.
Especially because they all learn differently.
These children love to move, think, build and socialize with one another to share their very special ideas and thoughts. This helps them better understand one another and themselves. Each child in my class values different experiences and loves to share what they have learned. These kiddos definitely value one another's differences and celebrate them in our classroom!
The Dash robot will bring multi-dimensional instruction to our second grade classroom. Dash is a robot that can act, think and encourage STEM learning. Students will be able to use Dash for coding, programming and even as an aid in our MakerSpace by adding legos and other building materials to transform him.
With Dash as a part of our class, the learning possibilities are endless!
Dash will be used in conjunction with learned skills in math, science, social studies, reading and writing. It will also be used as a fun way to review learned material in these subject areas. I know Dash will be a great addition to our classroom this school year. Thank you for considering donating to our project.
