This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students walk in every morning eager to learn and ready to take on new challenges. Students spend third grade building the foundation of skills they need to succeed academically.

The third graders I teach come from diverse backgrounds, not only culturally but also academically.

Most of the students come to third grade reading below grade level. We work hard all year and have been successful in helping each student set goals and meet those goals. When students see themselves grow, it makes them push even harder!

My Project

Dash is a robot that helps students express their critical thinking skills by programming and coding while having fun at the same time! The students will be excited to see that their ability to create a set of instructions will help bring the robot to life right before their eyes! The robot allows students to explore and problem solve in creative and innovative ways! It makes them think outside the box and gets them out of their seat. The robot is a great way for students to learn technology in a fun and creative way! Bringing a robot into the classroom will open so many new doors to creative little minds!
