My classroom is changing next year. I will be the Gifted and Talented Teacher for first through fifth grades. My students have been identified as Gifted and Talented, and the time I spend with them really needs to show their interests and skills. They are a hardworking, caring, and motivated group that will be thrilled with any contribution to our learning success.
Each student brings their own style to my classroom.
They express themselves in many different ways. I love to teach creatively to capture a student's willingness to learn. Once you get hold of a student's attention, the possibilities are endless.
As we continue to grow our GATE (Gifted and Talented Education Model) program, I have noticed a need for more Science and STEM Activities. The DASH Robot is a great way to start student's interest in coding. The challenge cards are a great way to allow students to work independently while problem solving and learning.
Along with our DASH Robot, we really could use another launcher and case to keep our Robots protected from Elementary School Elements.
We have been very fortunate to receive a Dash Robots and accessories from previous Donor's Choose Opportunities, but this one will give us enough for a robot for each group.
