Help me give my students two more Dash Robots and two more tablets, so they can break into smaller groups to allow for more hands on time. This allows for greater problem solving for each student, more attentive, focused students.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Imagine 300 beautiful expectant faces of all different shades of skin, eye, and hair color, and speaking up to 5 different languages.
They are a fantastic group elementary grade students clamoring for experience with coding and robots.
They come to the library looking for exciting educational experiences.
Many of our students come to us with a history of trauma, homelessness, and poverty. However, when I take out a lovable robot that can talk to them their eyes light up and their minds are blown!! The excitement and enthusiasm in the library are palpable.
The robots become familiar friends to visit with time and again. They are eager learners that just need more inspiring experiences
My Project
Dash robots are out of the box ready robots that can be controlled by even the youngest learners. Don't be fooled though, the tasks and challenges Dash are able to perform will take students to learning about coding through the use of algorithms, loops, variables, and can be coordinated throughout all content areas. There is even a Wonder Workshop Olympics where they can compete with other students throughout the country! The addition of two additional bots and the tablets will allow our students to break into smaller groups, so that everyone can be constantly engaged in the problem solving and coding.
