My Students

My students are very curious and always asking questions. I want to keep that natural inquisitive instinct alive by keeping them engaged with projects that are hands-on and meaningful.

We love to engage in all kinds of STEAM projects!

We pretend to be engineers and scientists on a regular basis. My students learn to be problems solvers and think outside the box through engaging in project-based learning. I want my students to LOVE school and be lifelong learners.

My Project

Coding Dash is incredibly engaging and it allows the students to put real-world math skills, such as angles and measurement, into practice. I would love to be able to put my students into groups of two so they can have more hands-on time. This project will give us one more robot and one more Kindle to be able to code Dash with Wonder Workshop's free apps.

My third grade students have been working hard on Code.org and we just transitioned into coding Dash (a robot made by Wonder Workshop that moves, lights up, and talks).
