My Students

Do you remember the joy of dancing to your favorite music? My students love to dance, but we need a better way to store and play their favorite songs.

This is my second year working in an elementary school in Brooklyn.

We have a very diverse population of students in every way that you can imagine. I work with kids from pre-k to fifth grade. My students are fantastic dancers who love to run, jump, twirl and move their bodies to the rhythm of every kind of music.

My Project

We need an iPod Touch to store and play music during class. Also, I love to document the fantastic work that my students do during class, taking pictures and videos that I can share with families and other teachers in the school. My students create the most fantastic choreographs as they feel the music run through their bodies.

I believe that it is important for dancers to be able to watch themselves dancing and share their work with others.

Their families can't always be there, but with an iPod, I would be able to give them a window into their children's world of dance.
