I teach atypically developing students ages 4 - 6 years old that have a unique way of learning from a traditional classroom. They often gravitate to hands-on learning and are inspired on each other's curiosities. They amaze me everyday by building grand railroads along the entire space of the construction center, using shaving cream for sensory play to learn letters, and creating their own masterful art pieces derived from their imagination. As a teacher I want to continue their learning by creating a natural environment of exploration. This requires tools that teach attention to task, sensory support, and classroom environment.
My Project
Okay, let's be honest- diapers stink. Our classroom is in need of something to help contain the smell. We are requesting a diaper bin and some scents that will help keep the classroom smelling clean and fresh.
We also included some Clorox disinfecting wipes and spray so we can keep our students healthy.
Our students would also LOVE some kitchen items in their pretend center. They are always cooking for each other with limited pretend food and supplies.
The students have run out of shaving cream for fun sensory play! Please help us replace these items and keep or classroom smelling fresh and clean.
