My Students

My students are among a lot of exceptional students. They are unique in their own way. My exceptional learners just want to be like everyone else, and in order to do that we work extremely hard filling in the pieces, they are missing academically.

My students are very creative and they have different styles of learning.

It takes them a different way to understand learning, but once they grasp it they flourish with the material and grow.

My Project

Scholars in special education are already lacking some skills as it is. Whether these skills are Reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and math. With these workbooks, scholars can practice daily math and reading practice. This can help students find key components when they are reading and how to scope out context clues to determine the meaning of unknown words. I have a handful of students who need help assessing reading comprehension and these books will help build on their goals.

With the help of workbooks and or manipulatives, it has been proven countless times that students benefit from the extra help and support.

With the support and help from donors to gain access to these workbooks, my scholars will be able to practice different subjects every time they enter the resource classroom. Scholars can also work with others who may be lacking the same skills and they can collaborate to help bridge gaps they were missing.
