This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a pull out program that helps build those missing skills on a daily basis. My kids come each day ready to learn and every day someone doesn't have materials needed to do this.

My kids are mostly low-income.

They struggle to have things they need to learn on a daily basis. They get excited when I give them a new pencil or eraser just for them. It is sad when they don't have the simplest of things to be successful in school.

My Project

When we receive the materials requested you would see the biggest smiles ever. It would be like Christmas every day for them to be able to have something to call their own and complete their daily tasks in school. They will be able to complete reading, math and writing tasks without having to ask for materials.

Donations to my project will keep us supplied with the materials we use on a daily basis.

Pencils, sharpeners, grips, etc., without these we have to get creative and find other ways for the kids to show their own work.
