This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are fifth graders from a variety of backgrounds. The majority of my students come from low socioeconomic homes. Despite their diverse backgrounds, they all have a desire to learn.

I am always searching for ways to help my students succeed academically and in life.

I will try to do whatever I can to make this happen. This has often been challenging in this technological age. Every student deserves a chance to achieve success in all areas and dream big.

My Project

Students spend a lot of time sitting at their desks during the day. In fact, students spend a lot of time sitting and not enough time exercising.

I want my students to cycle to success through exercising.

By placing the Stamina InStride Total Body Cycle under their desk or table, they can pedal away to strengthen major muscle groups and exercise their lower body. If it is placed on a table, they can work on upper body muscle groups. Not only is exercising good for the body, but the increased blood flow is great for the brain. All this can lead to success in the classroom.
