My Students

Sitting still is not what my students want. Children need to move to spark their brains and inspire ideas! I want to provide them with a under the desk bike to help jump start their learning.

The kids in my class are fun and full of energy.

They move around in my room and love to play and learn. We have provided standing desks for the kids to meet and swing their feet. I want to get them peddling to spark their brains and get even more creative with their learning.

My Project

Students will be able to sit at a desk and exercise. They can use the foot cycles to wake up if they're sleepy or to help get their creative juices flowing if they are stuck on something. Some of our hyper kids can use them to burn up energy without distracting others, which will help the entire class learn more efficiently.

Kids are stuck in their seats throughout our building for hours in a day.

This is another step to put an emphasis on the connection of thinking and moving. The brain and body are connected, and movement sparks the brain to work in many ways. Students will benefit from the change in culture and be able to choose how they want to move and learn.
