Help me give my students a cycling bike in our physical education class!
This project expired on December 12, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
I want to give my students so much because they have so little. Most of the students I work with come from homes below the poverty line, and I want them to have the chance to experience something that can influence their lives. Some of these students don't have access to the simplest supplies at home.
I want them to be exposed to as much as possible so that they don't fall behind.
Even though they have so much going against them, they bounce back each time and come to school ready to learn. They look to our school as a place to escape their rough home lives and that makes me want to provide them with everything I can.
Physical education is sometimes challenging. We have been creative with what we have and have been trying to expand our equipment as much as we can. Most of the gym equipment provided by the school is worn out and outdated, which is unfair for the students. In order to get some newer items, we would need donations.
I know our students would be more than grateful to receive new fitness equipment such as a fitness cycling bike.
This will help my students learn the importance of physical fitness and the different muscle types of the body. This equipment is much needed because we don't have any fitness bikes yet in our school which my students have been asking for. We are trying to give our students more options to stay in good shape. It is very important to show the students different fitness activities because we what them to live a healthy life.
