Help me give my students a Cricut Explore and Mini Press to create and bring the classroom to (19) student at home, by creating new and fun learning materials.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My Student are in Cordova, Tn. Being a first year teacher, I assumed that I would be spending my time prepping and preparing my class for the upcoming school year. Because of the pandemic, it has made my expected norm turn into a new norm. Being virtual has allowed me to see the innocence of my students. They are fun, energetic and full of life on my screen. They love learning every day and I am so eager to find ways to keep their spirits high and the smiles going on their beautiful faces with every lesson I teach. My first kindergartners are resilient! I can see their love for learning every time I meet them on the screen. Their eagerness to learn makes me even more excited about the moment we finally get to come together in the class!
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly what I will be creating for them. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. The Cricut Explore Air will be used for students to create different learning tools, so they may work where they are comfortable. I will use the Cricut mini press machine to create a variety of things like bags, mask, etc. to reward my students with.
