Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The demographics of our school is primarily made up of high poverty students. These students come to school not just to learn academics, but also social skills. Our school works hard to provide learning experiences and unique opportunities that will encourage our students to become independent 21st century learners. Our staff daily integrates 21st century learning skills into their instruction. We are fortunate to have a computer lab, iPads, Smart Boards and other technology resources for our students to use.

My Project

You know you've got a good resource when you've worn it out! After many years of use our die cut materials have bit the dust! Nothing is more frustrating than trying to cut with a dull blade that wouldn't even cut through a wet noodle!

We have multiple uses for these die cuts!

We use them to create beautiful bulletin boards, displays and interactive learning resources and manipulatives. Die cuts save us a lot of time cutting. Who has time to sit and cut out meticulous lines, edges and curves? Definitely not a teacher! Die cuts are worth the financial investment as they have a long life with many year's of use!
