My preschoolers come from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. They enjoy having opportunities to create and use their imaginations through arts and crafts. It is also a great way for them to practice many different skills while building their fine motor skills. Most of all they enjoy having the opportunity to learn and show their strengths in different ways. They are young and energetic, so we switch activities frequently throughout the day to keep everyone actively engaged.
What I love the most about teaching preschool is how eager the children are to enter the classroom each day!
They just cannot wait to see what we have planned and are always eager to try new things. I love the diversity that they bring to the classroom as we learn about their native cultures throughout the school year.
My Project
I am requesting a Cricut Air 2 because I spend a HUGE amount of time planning and preparing hands-on activities and crafts for my preschoolers. I always try to go the extra mile in creating my own materials to coincide with stories and themes that we are using each week at school. A Cricut Air 2 will be a huge time-saver for me as I prepare valuable materials and visual aids to use with my lessons each day!
Not only will I be able to use the machine to make a variety of materials to coincide with stories and themes, but it can also be used to make materials that the preschoolers can use to add originality to their art work!
The Cricut Air 2 will not only save me time, but it will also help to create visual aids that are much more attractive to my preschoolers during my lessons.
