Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are so excited when it comes to hand-stitching. Students get to add their own imagination and creations when stitching by hand. Sewing on a sewing machine is even more exciting.

The sewing table with grid measurements will create more space and give students a better understanding of how to mark and cut fabrics.

This table will be utilized to place our embroidery machine on it. The embroidery thread will be used to enhance embroidery projects with bright colors. The stabilizer will be used as backing when embroidering.

After this class, students will definitely have a different outlook on sewing and its many facets.
