My Students

Our students come from a high poverty community and are in need of supplies that will engage them in the classroom. They are eager to learn and have someone motivate them to reach for the stars. I want to give them the resources, materials, and atmosphere that will allow them to soar.

These 24 students come from all different countries and share different cultures, but they all need nurturing and a strong foundation to build good learning skills and problem-solving techniques to help them strive in life.

My Project

This curved seat will add a spot in the classroom the children can go to read in a comfy spot. It will also give them a seat to go to when they are looking for a quiet area to complete a task. I would love to separate the classroom and using this seat will help.

To add a seat into the classroom that will add color and a defined area to complete a quite task would be awesome.

Starting off the year with this resource would help me create a quite, comfortable and colorful atmosphere for our new excited learners
