My Students
My third grade students are eager to grow into 21st century learners and are motivated by the technology of today. They have both the academic and social skills to be successful in jobs that haven't yet been created.
The third graders in my class are like sponges and enjoying learning new things.
They are at the age when they are transitioning from writing in manuscript to cursive and boy are they excited to learn how to read and write it.
My Project
Students come to third grade eager and excited to learn how to write in cursive. Many students do not know how to read cursive writing because it has become a lost form. This year, I want my students to leave 3rd guide confident and proficient in reading and writing cursive.
Cursive Without Tears will provide me with daily instruction and the students with daily practice to master writing and reading in cursive.
The program is researched based and will help me ensure that instruction is fun and engaging. The program will help make cursive time the most anticipated time of the day!
