Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students at my Title school are full of life. They enter the classroom with a smile each day. They are caring to one another and show kindness around the school. The majority of my students are Hispanic. They are bilingual. They work so hard in all subject areas! My students never give up. They stay focused and do what they need to. They use the strategies I teach them; not just in classwork, but in everyday life too!

My Project

TIME for Kids is an awesome resource for teaching current events. My school used to provide them, but no longer has the financial resources to do so. TIME for Kids always lines up our curriculum! My students will be so excited to have their own copy of a magazine. I would use the TIME for Kids during my social studies/science block. We would also do additional research on the topics in the TIME for Kids.

Floor puzzles are a great way for students to problem solve with their hands.

The puzzles would be used during centers and morning STEM stations.
