My students need reading resources to help them gain access to information and to continue their love of reading!

My classroom is a place where students grow and learn from me and each other. They are always eager to enter the classroom. They've shown me that they learn best when they have tactile items and helpful resources to help them understand lessons and concepts that may be confusing. A print rich classroom is important for my students' success. I love their enthusiasm for learning and their desire to be leaders. I really enjoy seeing who they are as individuals and how easy it is for them to share their opinions and explain their thinking on various topics. My school is supportive, loving, and caring. As a school, we really care about students, their education, and their futures.
My students learn by doing. If I teach a concept, I find that my students do their best when they are given the opportunity to come to their own understanding. Using basic items such as pencils and glue will help my students to complete assignments independently. With the use of a laminator and pouches, I can print items such as reading strategies and laminate them so they remain in tact and can continue to be a resource for my students. Office supplies such as tape, a stapler, and file folders, will help me to put together their work for display and keep their work in one location.
