This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and supported. We are thrilled to introduce the concept of a "Buddy Bench" to our school garden—a special place designed to foster kindness and friendship among our students. We need your support to bring this meaningful project to life with a picnic table and benches

The Buddy Bench will be a symbol of friendship and inclusivity, strategically placed near our garden beds.

It will serve as a welcoming spot for students who are seeking companionship or a friendly conversation.

This initiative aims to:

Promote Kindness: Encourage students to reach out to their peers, fostering a culture of empathy and support.

Build Friendships: Provide a safe and inviting space for students to connect and form new friendships.

Enhance Social Skills: Help students develop important social skills, such as communication, empathy, and cooperation.

Create a Sense of Belonging: Ensure that every student feels included and valued within our school community.
