My Students

Hello All, I am will begin my first year teaching CCK (cross-categorical resource kindergarten) this upcoming school year. My classroom will have 11 boys and many of these boys have autism. I am trying to create the most enriching environment for these students as I can so they have a positive school year.

Autistic children benefit from a highly organized classroom that promotes repetition and routine.

My goal as their teacher is to create the best environment to meet their education needs and social needs while fostering their growth and development.

My Project

The cube chairs I am requesting will be highly beneficial to my students' learning during all lessons throughout the school day including but not limited to math, social skills, language art and science. These chairs will help to keep the students engaged, content and secure.

After conducting extensive research on autism and the best ways for autistic children to thrive in a classroom I discovered the cube chairs I am requesting.

These chairs will help to keep my students attentive to their learning while at the same time these chairs will allow them to have a sense of safety and security.
