My Students

Students in my class are eager to learn and be successful. They come with a variety of strengths and skills that are nurtured and developed throughout the school year.

Reducing stress and focusing on learning is key to unleashing a student's full potential.

Taking up time looking for lost items and then having to replace them is very frustrating for my students, but yet they support each other in times of need.

Students in my class are working on becoming more independent and continuing to develop responsibility for their learning. They are always proud of their accomplishments.

My Project

Students in my classroom attend a variety of classes throughout the day requiring them to develop their organizational skills to make sure they have items needed such as notebooks, texts, and variety of smaller items.

Having a space to organize their educational materials is essential to the success of students.

Not having an adequate space to store materials can be stressful and counterproductive to learning. Items are often lost or damaged.

At present, students are only able to store a small portion of their items in the science tables provided in the classroom which often break because they were not intended for heavy storage. Many personal educational items are scattered throughout the room.
