My Students

Our students in this school are innovative, creative and have the potential to one day contribute in a very meaningful way to whatever community that they decide to live in. When given the proper avenues for their intellectual and creative outlets my students always come up with great ideas and they surprise me every time. These kids are deserving of the types of science demonstrations that this would provide. We need these minds in the STEM fields, and they can get there by being inspired through the types of demonstrations we could do with this.

My Project

We need a container to transport and safely handle liquid nitrogen in our school. This would allow us to do SO many experiments when our students are learning about thermodynamics and energy in 7th grade and allow us to be able to show the power of knowledge on our Science Night by exploding trash cans full of ping pong balls with science prizes on them.

There are literally endless possibilities for the utilization of liquid nitrogen in the classroom.

I would urge you if you're considering being that blessing to our class to check out some videos (that I cannot embed) on YouTube of these experiments. You can't communicate the scientific value of these experiments from a video, and they need to be performed safely in person.
