My Students
The students at my school are so full of life and energy. They enter every day excited and ready to learn. They have varying abilities and interests, but when they enter my room they are part of the family.
My students have a love of learning and their faces light up when they are able to work with technology!
I would love to provide more coding robots to give my students more one-on-one time with the resources.
We have a diverse population of students from many different countries and backgrounds. My school is located in a middle-class area with 32% of the school population eligible for free or reduced-price lunch.
My Project
These materials will give my students the ability to work with coding robots in a small group. I will use them during the school day with Prekindergarten through 5th graders to introduce a love of technology at a young age.
We are a school in a fortunate area, but we lack funding for additional technology.
With the robots, my students will be able to compete with peers at other schools, while increasing their 21st-century knowledge.
I have six of the Ozobots and two Botleys that I purchased myself, but I would appreciate help in funding more. The students are so excited when I introduce the coding robots.
