Crossing Our Fingers for a New All in One Computer!

My students need an all in one computer for classroom technology projects, research and for 2nd grade readiness skills.

My Students

As a parent and teacher at a small town feeder school, I would say we are blessed to live in a town with a big heart! I am a self-contained teacher who implements technology on a regular basis. Our local school has more than 500 students from Pre-K through 5th grade; I have taught several grade levels and feel I have finally hit my stride with second grade. Through the past years, my students and I have made an effort to include project based lessons with our computers and other tools. They love using technology as much as I love teaching with it!

My Project

I am very much a technology based teacher who believes in using resources to enhance learning in centers, as well as with whole groups!

Philip Green stated, "Good, bad or indifferent, if you are not investing in new technology, you are going to be left behind."

Computers are powerful resources. When meshed with the curriculum, it can bring expectations to new heights!

As a class that is need of a computer let me say, "We are definitely crossing our fingers for an updated all in one computer!"

My students will use the computer centers for literacy, math, social studies, and science. A new all in one computer would enable my students to participate in daily academic lessons that also enhance my art and even music lessons. Technology brings so much to the classroom. Between engaging websites and apps in Windows 10, it would be an asset to my classroom! My students would also work with project based lessons for all subject areas. My students would use this computer in our daily centers in reading and math. They would also work in groups on technology based projects.
