My Students

My students truly enjoy using the technology that we have, and they truly look forward to being able to use our classroom computers each day. Because of this, I want to be able to offer all of my students more technology to better help them meet their academic goals.

I have a wonderful group of students that all have very different interests.

They are all coming from various economic backgrounds, and this affects their ability to learn and what they are interested in learning. They truly enjoy using the computers to accelerate their learning. I want to be able to offer my students the best technology possible to help them reach their academic goals while still keeping them entertained within their grade level material.

My Project

The students in my classroom will be able to use StarrMatica daily to help them reach their academic goals while practicing within their grade level and content standards. The students will also be able to use this program to review past standards, if needed, and move beyond grade level as needed. StarrMatica will allow for a more individualized instructional plan for each of the students in my classroom. Because of this individualization, I will be better able to meet the needs of each of my students.

I feel that this technology will greatly help to improve my classroom.

It will give my students new opportunities to help them reach their educational goals. It will also allow them to use technologies that they may not be able to utilize any other way.
