My classroom is filled with 16, young, energetic little learners that explore their learning environment on a daily basis.
These energetic, little learners have a unique schooling experience.
They start in our district when they are 4 and stay under the same roof until they graduate high school.
Students are from a small rural town just north of a major metropolitan area in Wisconsin.
Overall, my students are lively, respectful, and genuinely care for each other. They come to school each day with a new desire to learn. Everyday we work on problem solving, creative thinking and fine motor skills.
My Project
STEM learning stations will provide my students the opportunity to build critical thinking, problem solving skills, and collaboration. My students are more engaged when motivated and using real life learning. The STEM stations provide real life situations such as building a bridge or robot.
These STEM activities provide hands on activities to explore, create and build over and over again.
The students will learn to work with others in a group and have success with their projects. The students will gain confidence, challenge each other, collaborate and problem solve throughout their learning. The design and build engineering centers give the students the opportunity to build their own structures while using problem solving skills.
