My students, or as I refer to them my "kids", are a fun loving and eager group. They come from many different and often challenging backgrounds, but nonetheless they work hard and try their best everyday.
We are a Title I funded school and many students receive free and reduced lunch and breakfast.
I am always in awe of how students, even with these challenges, come to school each day with such a positive vibe and a positive outlook on life.
My Project
I have requested materials that will allow my students to use critical thinking, as well as help them build communication skills. A few of the materials are math games, in which students will be able to play together and build math strategies. I also requested an Ozobot, for my students to begin to learn coding.
It is my hope that these STEM resources will improve the learning environment for all of my students.
Students will be able to use these resources throughout the day at various times, such as when they complete work, independent work, incentive, or even indoor recess time.
I believe my students will grow into higher order thinkers!
