My Students

My third-grade students are very hard working and kind! We currently have twenty-three classmates and are enjoying learning together. This may be the first time some of them are involved in cooperative learning and they are excelling. We do have some obstacles to overcome, such as trauma, poverty and a transitory population. 47% of our families are economically disadvantaged.

We are not letting any obstacles stand in our way of learning.

We work diligently and know we can do anything that we try hard enough to do.

My Project

My students are not typical learners. Having a green screen and the necessary equipment could introduce different levels of interest to ordinary subjects. Also, the KNEX set will give us tools to use to our critical thinking skills and add to our creativity while using the green screen and other opportunities.

Science and technology are great topics on which to focus when life gives too many distractions!

The students in my classroom have 1:1 Ipads and love to utilize technology. This donation would allow the students to use new and engaging ways to use technology while learning the required curriculum. The ideas they will share are boundless!
