My students come from all different walks of life, but they all have one thing in common: they come in everyday with a positive attitude, a smile, and a hunger for learning. The kids in my class have been able to grow together over the past year, and are continuing their journey from our kindergarten class into our first grade class.
My students inspire me on a daily basis, and I look forward to seeing the great things they achieve over the next year.
Our class loves being able to learn in one central location. Now that our class has grown in size, this project would help to create an environment that comfortably seats everyone with ease.
In my classroom, a rug big enough for 25 kids could truly create a central hub for whole-group learning. When there is enough space for students to be able to better respect personal boundaries, little time is wasted, leaving us with more instructional time. In my opinion, some of the best learning starts on a classroom rug.
The rug is a place where we can learn about addition and subtraction, or get lost in great stories and discover a world once unknown.
The possibilities are truly endless. I have provided seating to students with their comfort and space in mind, but they still struggle to understand personal boundaries due to lack of rug space.
The size of this rug is just perfect for the growth of our class.
