This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach Special Education class - a range of services that help kids with disabilities learn. I accommodate and modify instruction to meet the needs of individual kids. Kids who qualify for special education have an IEP.

My students have one or more eligible disabilities like - autism, speech and Language disability, intellectual disability the disability and so on, which negatively affect her/his educational performance.

Through this project, it will enable my students to learn and grow in a fun and creative way while promoting their fine motor skills for improve school success.

My Project

This project will help my students the ability to individualize their fine motor projects and creatively express themselves using the Cricut Maker and its supplies .

Most of my students come from different social and ethnic backgrounds and require additional support to be able to access their learning environment and grow with their peers.

Many of my students have tremendous difficulty with their processing information that requires the use of alternative resources to promote their learning and education.

Learning basic skills such as writing their name and simple numbers, identifying and creating shapes and completing simple art projects are some of the struggles that many of our students face.
