Help me give my students a Cricut so we can make props for the school musicals, projects in art class, shirts for students of the month, and so much more!
Art class is such a fun exciting way to express yourself, and that is exactly why my students love my class. At my small school in Antioch, students come in excited to learn everyday. They are eager to learn all of the elements and principles of art through the many projects that we create throughout the year. All of my students get to experiment with different materials and even get the chance to self-assess everything they make.
My classroom is about building skills, self reflection, and discovery.
Students get the chance to work with different types of materials on every project. They also learn how to work as a team with group work and whole school projects. Students here are encouraged to express themselves and learn from everything they do. I feel so lucky to be able to help sculpt the minds of the future.
My Project
I am looking to get a Cricut to use for so many things. I would like to be able to use it for helping to create the set for our school musicals. I would also like the ability to create shirts for students of the month. The students will then be able to wear them proud and keep them! It would be really neat to use this in art class as well. The students will be able to create things and add it to their projects such as in their house making, printmaking, and mask making units. I would also like to use it for community involvement nights such as decorations for after school dances, family painting night, graduation, and honor student stickers for cars. Really, the possibilities are endless.
