This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our classroom is a full-day tuition-free preschool. The children in my classroom are high-risk students who come from low-income families. My school is a Title I school and every child receives a free lunch. I am passionate about working with young children and with your support, we can ensure that my students have the learning resources needed to reach their educational goals.

My students have a wide range of needs in the areas of social-emotional skills, communication, and academics. Despite what obstacles and hardships the children face outside of school, they come to the classroom every day ready to learn. My students inspire me to be the best teacher that I can be. I will continue to advocate for my students in order to ensure that they receive a quality education.
My Project
In my classroom, keeping sixteen young children engaged in learning is not always easy when resources are limited. In my classroom, we are not allowed to use worksheets and all learning materials must be hands-on activities. The heat press will allow my class to design various t-shirts and bags that we can use for various events such as family picnics, Math Night, and Literacy Night.
My students would use the Cricut Easy Press to create their own tote bag where they will store their reading books and math materials.
This Cricut Easy heat press will help my students become more creative and potentially think about a career in graphic design as they continue their educationally careers.
