This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I have the honor of teaching an amazing group of first graders. My students are active learners who thrive when given the opportunity to embrace their unique qualities. Almost all of the students struggle financially and qualify for free lunch. They struggle with attendance and being tardy to school. My students love learning and are eager to gain as much knowledge as I can throw at them.
My students inspire me daily, so I am thrilled to ask for projects on their behalf.
My Project
With the Cricut accessories, my students will be able to design and engineer more projects than they could before. We can use our classroom Cricut to take it even further and create even more projects with hands-on learning. The Cricut accessories will enable my students to think outside of the box and create without boundaries.
I am so excited to see how the students show their creativity and demonstrate their understanding of topics taught in new, exciting ways.
The materials in this project will be used to motivate my students to continue learning and growing through this difficult time.
