My students are awesome! They deserve all the resources to help them achieve success. My students attend a Title I school that is considered high poverty. We have almost 50% of our students receiving free or reduced-price breakfasts and lunches each day. We have a weekend food program for students too.
My students are working extremely hard to be successful with the Common Core curriculum and I want to get them all the resources to achieve this.

My Project
Who would think that a Cricut Maker Machine with a cutting matt and tools would be basic supplies for a Third Grade classroom? We would! Our Third Grade classroom would benefit from this Cricut Maker Machine in our room. It's a basic resource that all classrooms need...ours included. We would use the machine to make identification labels on our cubbies, cabinets, and daily center materials. Rooms have so much going on, so the Cricut Machine and the supplies to go along with it, would allow my students to find their materials quickly and the machine would allow me to make center materials in a "flash". This machine would allow us to make resources with the materials we have in the room for the classroom instead of going out and purchasing them. For example, I could quickly make fraction materials for our math center. The possibilities are endless. Another added bonus of the Cricut Maker Machine is that it allows me to make bulletin boards for the students and families to enjoy. This is a basic resource our classroom would love to have.
