My Students

My second grade students are so eager to learn. I want them to be comfortable in their learning enviroment. In this classroom we are family. At our school our learning environments say a lot about how we learn. My students I have noticed over the years seem to learn better when they are surrounded by some comforts of home. This can be lamps, of colored stools or even lap trays. My students are thriving in my classroom. They are eager to learn and excel to the highest levels they can. They are a model of good character and providing examples of justice, integrity and fun each day!

My Project

My students need a comfortable place to work while learning to write paragraphs. In second grade we are gearing up for AZ merit and in order to prepare them they need a cozy spot where they can sit and write away. In our classroom we enjoy our flexible seating. Not only will my students be writing, but reading!

Reading is essential in every school and every student deserve a place that is especially their own where they are able to focus on their reading and writing skills without having to sit at a hard desk.

I have seen what flexible seating can do and how it has helped my students!
