My Students

Our school is in a rural area of San Diego. We service students from various backgrounds. We have about 6% Native American and 48% Hispanic. Many come from low income households.

They come to us with a vast span of social, emotional and environmental needs.

Our school treats all students like family. Taking responsibility for all our students is a primary goal.

My class is 35 strong. They are an inquisitive group who learn quickly and enjoy hands-on activities.

Our school is small but mighty.

My Project

Ozobots have so much potential in the classroom. Students will be engaged and amazed. These will create the wonder for 21st century skills my students need.

My students will have the flexibility of combining creativity and coding, the first step in a STEAM program.

They will get to use the Ozobots to create color coded lines and see how the combinations of color and pattern control the Ozobots. The will then get to extend their learning into Math. They will have the tools to practice and learn about angles and measurement through creating mazes for their Ozobots. Engagement is what the Ozobots ignite.
