My Students

Energetic, engaged, and excited are just three words that describe my students perfectly. They have a thirst for learning and we love to move and learn while exercising. Our classroom has several alternative seating options that keep my students’ brains engaged with body movement. They include yoga balls, bicycle pedals, bouncy bands, and even a mini trampoline.

Our fun and active classroom might not be the quietest place but you can bet it has 100% active engagement and brain neurons firing away!

My Project

A Cricut will give my students the opportunity to increase STEAM opportunities. STEAM education will deepen their understanding and pique their interest in science, technology, engineering, art and math. This project will enable my students to experience hands on computer graphics and designs.

I want my students to have the opportunity to take their learning beyond the textbook.

In this digital age, our young learners need to gain skills in this type of digital technology. My students are very creative. With the Cricut, my students will be able to create posters and visuals that connect to their learning. The Cricut will be used to create educational materials for students such as flash cards, book posters, anchor charts, and even active learning graphics to place on the floor for movement.
